Purpose: To update participants of the meeting with a new viewing system and new surgical concept in vitreoretinal surgery. Method: Personal initial experience after 10 surgeries performed recently in 2017 on NGENUITY system™, Alcon was reviewed. Results: Advantages and disadvantages of the system according to the personal judgement were presented. Conclusion: Numerous advantages make the new 3D system superior compared to the conventional surgical system with operating microscope. (Presentation time required 5 min)
