Life injured in traffic accidents usually rescues people who come first, they give them first help and transport them to the nearest health institution. During this labour we spend questionnaire, evaluation of knowledge of first aid and protection of an accident place. The research was carried out in the territory of the city of Prijedor, which involved 300 respondents. The obtained results showed that drivers have basic knowledge about providing first aid and securing the site of an accident, but with deeper analysis of the questionnaire gaps were visible. There was also a difference in the knowledge of beginner drivers and older drivers. Based on the analysis of the obtained results, will be given evaluation whether the lessons from first help during instructions of candidates for motor vehicle driving in auto schools at a satisfactory level or need to be further improved. In this labor are given some specific advice, and a suggestion of measures that should contribute to better instructions of first help for drivers and consequently improving the safety of traffic on the roads.
